Elements Green's 400 MW BESS project in Germany receives preliminary planning approval

We are very excited to share that Elements Green Deutschland GmbH's visionary 400MW BESS project in Elsfleth has taken a giant leap forward!

Our project received unanimous preliminary planning approval (Aufstellungsbeschluss) at the local council meeting on March 26, 2024. An impressive demonstration of successful collaboration!

A heartfelt shoutout to our project lead, Michael Zimmermann, whose dedication and skillful negotiations have been instrumental in this achievement. Michael's efforts in securing land and fostering trust with the mayor, council, and local stakeholders have paved the way for this milestone.

In Michael’s own words: “This important milestone is another significant step on our way to becoming a leader in the German battery storage market. I look forward to collaborating with the entire Elements Green team to create something extraordinary”.

Special thanks also go to Robert Winkler for crafting a technical concept that not only convinced but excited our partners about the project's potential. And, of course, none of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our entire German team—their hard work and commitment are the backbone of this success.

As we gear up for the next phases of development, we're very excited for what lies ahead. Here's to a future powered by sustainable energy!
