Mark Turner – Executive Chairman
Over thirty years’ experience of delivering results in senior project and operational roles in sectors as diverse as financial services, manufacturing, retail and distribution.
Mark has worked in renewables since 2010 and prior to joining Elements Green, he was one of the Lightsource start-up team where he built an operating business managing over of 2GW of PV assets.
Rasmus Friis – CEO
Rasmus has worked in the energy sector for 20+ years, undertaking senior executive positions within several renewable energy companies, ranging from turbine manufacturing to IPPs.
Previously President/MD at Conergy EMEA/India for 7+ years. Before joining Elements Green, Rasmus was CEO of Amplio Energy Group and Clenergy.
At Elements Green, Rasmus overlooks all the country operations ensuring that every aspect of the organization aligns seamlessly with its deep commitment to sustainability.
James Gates – CIO
James has 15 years of experience within finance having spent 7 years with Goldman Sachs and Barclays Capital, before moving to an alternative asset manager focusing on infrastructure, private equity and special situations.
James graduated from Exeter University with First class BA in Economics and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
Ecaterina Turcanu – Operations Director
20+ years experience in Accounting and Supply Chain.
Previously she has worked in automotive industry, as part of an international Supply Chain Management team,
At Elements Green, Ecaterina focuses on coordinating the business process management and EPC procurement.
Philip Woolfson - Finance Director
20 years' experience leading high performing finance teams across international renewable energy, infrastructure organisations.
Before joining Elements Green, Phil was Director of Finance at Low Carbon.
Supports Element’s Green's international growth agenda enabling financial discipline and rigour, optimal capital structure and return to shareholders.
Otto Carlisle – Engineering Director
20+ years experience in developing cleantech and renewable energy projects.
Previously worked on, hydrogen fuel cells, solar PV farms, onshore and offshore wind, gas to power and energy storage.
At Elements Green, Otto focuses on both the commercial and technical aspects of project developments and realization.
Mark - Head of UK Development
10+ years experience in solar development.
Previously worked for Anesco and Lightsource bp developing >1GW of Solar.
At Elements Green, Mark leads UK development and has brought 1500 MW of assets to a late stage.
Markus Heiss - Managing Director, Germany
20+ years’ experience in senior management positions in infrastructure investments, M&A, and Business Development
Key founder of United Green’s renewables team in 2008, developing 1000+ MWs of assets.
At EG, Markus runs the German development team and assesses new business opportunities.
Luigi Capussela - Managing Director, Italy
15+ years’ experience in the Italian Energy industry.
Previous experience as a CFO prior to becoming General Manager at Silver Ridge Power, an Italian development, EPC and asset management business.
An expert in M&A, optimisation and development.
Toby Roberts - Managing Director, Australia
Over 20 years’ experience within strategic planning, project development and corporate financing of large-scale energy and natural resources projects.
Successfully contributed to the development and deployment of multiple GW of projects across Australia and internationally.
Ran his own consultancy company for over 5 years before setting up the renewables development capability for Fortescue prior to joining EG.
